With regret, and with sincere gratitude for the relationship we have had with him, Council accepted Al Holtmeyer's resignation as secretary. We are thankful for the twelve years we have had to work together, and wish him all the best in the next stage of his life.
On November 10 we will have a Covenanting Service for Minister Sheila. There will be coffee and refreshments at 2:30, followed by the service at 3:30.
Due to a problem with the ovens we use for the Fall Supper, it is postponed for now. It will be held in some fashion, and we will update here and in the bulletin when more is known.
A dementia support group is being held by the Christian Development Committee, contact the Minister or Secretary's office for more information.
Through the Mission & Service Fund, the United Church of Canada sends volunteer and financial aid to disaster assistance projects, provides guidance and staff assistance to partner churches and ministries around the world, and helps to build new communities here at home.
